  • Accommodation is staffed rifugi (mountain huts), booked individually in advance.
  • Wild camping is prohibited along the whole route.
  • Off-season, some huts leave an unlocked, unattended winter room.

  • The Schiara descent on the final stage can be bypassed via La Pissa.
  • Access: Venice or Treviso airport (~2 h), then bus via Cortina d'Ampezzo to Dobbiaco and Lago di Braies. Belluno has train and bus.
